About Divine Dog Walking
Hello! I'm Jermaine, a lifelong animal lover and pet parent.
And this sweet little soul was our rescue Min Pin, Lola. She was diagnosed with chronic bronchitis while in our foster care, and we adopted her knowing she would need a puff from an inhaler every day for the rest of her life.
12 years later, in November 2023, we said goodbye to Lola. She was 18-and-a-half years old. Having Lola forever changed me and my husband.
Given that incredible experience, we understand the unique needs of senior and special needs dogs, as well as the stress and heightened emotions sometimes involved in their care. For example, in January 2023, we had to cancel a long-awaited first trip after the pandemic because Lola was too fragile to be left with her beloved dog sitters.
That's why our mission at Divine Dog Walking is to provide premium, specialized dog walking and sitting for small, senior and special needs dogs in our St. Lawrence Market community and surrounding areas in downtown Toronto. We are committed to keeping the little angels in our care happy, healthy, safe, and feeling loved, and giving their pet parents peace of mind.
And, if you're open to it and your dog likes it, we can do Reiki-infused walks to create even more calm and wellbeing. Lola used to love it. Either way, your dog will benefit from my calm and grounded energy. As a transformational coach and energy healer, yoga instructor, and meditation teacher, calm is my superpower.
In addition to my years of experience with Lola and other pets since I was a child, I am certified, insured and trained in Pet First Aid. I am also pursuing my Fear Free Certified® Professional designation. A global leader in animal wellbeing, Fear Free® offers science-based, behavior-led strategies to prevent and reduce fear, anxiety, and stress for pets.

I’ve known Jermaine for almost 15 years and have experienced first-hand the love, respect and leadership she portrays in her relationship with dogs. Her min-pin, Lola, was a longtime boarder at our facility.
When Jermaine first became a dog parent, Lola was not expected to live very long due to a respiratory illness. Through her care and dedication, Jermaine extended Lola’s life well beyond any expectation. Lola lived a long, happy and fulfilled life for over 18 years. Without the dedication of Jermaine and her partner, this would not have been possible. They did absolutely everything they could, personally and medically, to ensure Lola remained healthy and comfortable. It was remarkable to witness.
I have no doubt that any dog in Jermaine's care will be well taken care of, with the utmost trust and nurturing support.
